Bout time that I did this....

Well hello from Georgia. My name is Greg and I am an archaeologist. Yes, it is exactly as Indiana Jones portrays it, I swear. Actually, I just got back from 4 months in the jungles of Belize doing survey and recon work in the cave systems. Now I get to sit in front of my computer analyzing thousands of lines of data for the next year! Hurray!

Before becoming an archaeologist I played bass in a band called Pushbutton. I did the whole touring thing for about 2 years before getting bored of it and after having 9 months of work (and thousands of $$) in a CD destroyed by a hurricane I called it quits.

Anyway, thanks again for accepting me, I cant wait to finally get this bloody game started!

i used to live in georgia for about a year and a half before moving back to michigan to help out my family. lived just out side of atlanta. loved the city and state. i also used to work for archaeologist in michigan. they went in before the state or oil company to make sure the area was clear of sites. we only found a dead body twice; neither times was it jimmy hoffa lol, they were indian burial sites . weird to come up with a skull and have to call the cops. was a cool job thou. but your never home with a job like that, thats the down part of the job.

Ha, I'm in Ann Arbor on and off during the year. Its a nice place. I also used to do CRM work like that. Its fun at first, but never being at home begins to kill it after a while. I stick to the academic stuff now. I'm home most of the year doing research then go out for 3-4 months during the summer to do my field work. Not nearly as much money in it, but the schedule is fantastic and I get to do my own research instead of clearing an area for some ass to build a mall.
